• Auburn University Department of Textile Engineering
  Textile Engineering is the only department in the state of Alabama devoted to textile manufacturing. The partnership between it and the U.S. Department of Consumer Affairs makes Auburn University the only academic unit in the country that covers the industry from fiber to consumer.
• Clemson Apparel Research (Clemson University)
  Striving to revitalize the domestic apparel industry through the proper application of advanced technology and the teaching and implementation of better management techniques.
• Design, Housing & Merchandising at Oklahoma State University
  The department offers integrated undergraduate professional programs in apparel design and production, merchandising and interior design. Facilities include state-of-the-art NSF-supported Textile Lab, Lighting and Technology Lab, CAD Lab and Sewn Product Production Labs. Students are prepared for a variety of careers in the textile/apparel complex, merchandising, residential or commercial interior design and facilities management.

  Department of Textiles and Consumer Science
  Offers graduate and undergraduate courses using an integrative approach addressing the needs of business/industry and the interests of consumers. Strong relationships with retail/manufacturing companies, appropriate government agencies, and trade organizations provide opportunities for cutting edge instruction and research.
• Georgia Tech School of Textile & Fiber Engineering
  Offering Textile engineering, chemistry, and management, and one of the finest polymer programs in the country. You can now earn an M.S. in Polymers through graduate study at Georgia Tech, as well as the traditional three degrees of Textile Engineering, Textile Chemistry and Textiles. Those eminently qualified may also pursue Ph.D. programs. Plentiful and generous graduate fellowships and assistantships are available for eligible M.S. and Ph.D. candidates.
• The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising,
  Los Angeles, California
  Associate of Arts, Apparel Manufacturing Management and A.A. professional designation (one year) for previously degreed students. Industry specialists act as special advisors to the teaching facility. Guest speakers and field trips enrich the student's learning experience.
• The Institute of Textiles and Clothing
  The Institute of Textiles and Clothing, the first institute of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, was formally established in December 1977 as a result of the reorganization of the former Department of Textile Industries. Throughout the years, the Institute has maintained the sole role in the provision of textile and clothing education in the tertiary education sector.
• LaSalle College - (Montreal, Quebec, Canada)
  With over 55% of its students enroled in Fashion programs, the College is one of the pillars of Canada's fashion and garment industry. Its contribution of highly trained technicians to the industry, and its activities with the Specialized Fashion Centre of Quebec (CSMQ) make LaSalle College one of the world's leading fashion training institutes.
• The Manchester Metropolitan University
  The Department of Clothing Design and Technology offers the largest concentration of courses in cothing in the UK's higher education system, maintaining and developing a very close relationship with the fashion clothing and textile industry.
• North Carolina State University College of Textiles
  One of the world's largest centers for textile education and research, and the largest of its kind in the United States. COT offers one of only two accredited Textile Engineering programs in the country. The COT produces more than half of the textile graduates in the United States each year.
• Philadelphia University
  Academic programs are well known and respected by the top firms in the textile and apparel industry, who provide attractive co-op and internship opportunities to students. Students work with some of the most sophisticated equipment available.
• The Scottish College of Textiles
  The Scotish College of Textiles, founded in 1883, now constitutes the faculty of textiles Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. Courses offered range from National Certificate to Ph.D degrees, and undergraduate courses lead to the award of honors degress of Heriot-Watt University.
• University of Alberta
  Offers undergratuate courses in a broad range of studies covering Texiles, Clothing and Culture
• University of Georgia, Department of Textiles,
  Merchandising, and Interiors
  Provides a wide range of textile laboratories and testing equipment. The textile science facility have research and teaching expertise in textile chemistry, polymers and fibers, dyeing, theory and practice, environmental chemistry and textile testing.
• University of Huddensfield Textile Department
  The full-time courses are BSc (Hons) Textile Design, BEng (Hons) Textile Manufacture with Clothing Studies, BA (Hons) Surface Pattern and BA ( Hons) Fashion Design. The Textile Technology courses are part-time and are at National Certificate, Higher Certificate and BSc (Hons) level. At the post-graduate level an MSc course in Textile Technology for Textile Designers is offered. The department is active in research and the degrees MPhil and PhD are awarded for research in textile technology, manufacture and design.
• University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth
  UMass Dartmouth offers Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree programs in textile chemistry. The textile sciences programs at UMass Dartmouth are the only programs of their type in New England. More than 300 companies in New England need skilled, knowledgeable textile scientists. Also offered is a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree in textile technology.
• University of Missouri, Columbia
  Department of Textile and Apparel Management
  In the Department of Textile and Apparel Management (TAM), students find an exciting array of opportunities to learn about the softgoods industry--a term that includes the textile, apparel, and retailing industries.
