- Very drapeable
- Expensive
- Shorter cashmere fibers may pill
MAJOR END USES:
- Apparel - sweaters, socks, accessories, shawls, coats, and suits
- Home Fashions - Blankets, throws
Comments - Cashmere fibers range in length from 1-1/4 inch to 3-1/2 inch in length. Since the fleece from 4 to 6 animals is typically needed to make one sweater, cashmere tends to be expensive. Therefore, dry cleaning is preferable.
