Lenzing Modal Color
- Developed by Lenzing, the Austrian fiber producer, Lenzing Modal
Color is colored Modal® fibers that are available in the spun-dyed
shades of black, red, blue, brown, and beige. A wider range of
shades can be achieved through cross-dyeing. Using solution
dyed colors with the colored pigments permanently impregnated
into the fiber, Lenzing reduces the amount of energy and water
required by traditional piece or yarn dyeing processes. Lenzing
Modal Color is also more colorfast.

- These trademarked odor control treatments, developed by Life Material Technologies, Ltd., use peppermint oil as the active ingredient. Life Natural®’s unique, non-metal technology is a more sustainable alternative to the use of silver, zinc, copper and heavy metals in antimicrobial treatments undergoing regulatory review in key textile markets. LIFE®
- This trademark for a broad range of antimicrobial treatments, developed by Life Material Technologies, Ltd., binds effective antimicrobial ingredients to and within materials for long lasting control of microbial growth. The treatments, which last through many home launderings, are applied during the dyeing or finishing of textiles, textile coatings, foams, fiberfill and during the tanning process for leather. LIFE® additives can also be permanently incorporated into synthetic fibers and plastics during the extrusion stage. LIFE® finishes can be applied to all types of fiber constructions and are compatible with most finishing agents, including flame retardant finishes and all resin systems and softeners normally used in textile finishing.
