CORDURA® Advanced Fabrics Launches CORDURA AdventurerTM at Functional Fabric Fair (4/6/26)

CORDURA® Advanced Fabrics announces the launch of CORDURA AdventurerTM, a new curated fabric 
collection designed to meet the dynamic needs of today’s outdoor apparel market. Debuting at 
Functional Fabric Fair in Portland, Oregon, April 8–9, the collection marks a significant milestone in the 
brand’s ongoing commitment to delivering durable, high-performance solutions that give designers 
and consumers confidence on the trail and beyond.

Built on the strength of the CORDURA® brand’s legacy of durability, CORDURA AdventurerTM brings 
together a range of adventure-ready fabrics, thoughtfully selected for modern outdoor apparel 
applications. Whether intended for hiking, climbing, snow sports, or trail running, the collection is 
purposefully curated to help designers quickly identify fabrics optimized for specific end-use 
requirements — so they can design with certainty and users can wear with confidence.

“We focused on two of the key pain points many designers face when selecting fabrics: time and 
information,” said Trey Fonde, Global Director of Business Development. “By utilizing decades of 
combined experience to select fabrics fit for purpose, and by demonstrating how those materials 
translate into confident performance in real life, we aim to improve the fabric buying process.”
This is the first in a series of upcoming curated collections planned by the CORDURA® Advanced 
Fabrics team, which spans a wide range of textures, weights, and constructions that balance 
protection and adventure. “CORDURA AdventurerTM materials perform in the harshest environments 
while giving wearers the confidence to explore — and the versatility to go straight from town to trail 
without missing a beat,” said Trey Fonde.

Curated Collection Debut
At Functional Fabric Fair, attendees will experience the CORDURA AdventurerTM collection through an 
exclusive, hand- selected inspirational fabric showcase. Each fabric has passed rigorous real-life 
testing standards developed by the CORDURA® Advanced Fabrics R&D team, ensuring every material 
is aligned to specific outdoor performance end uses and tested to instill confidence for designers and 
consumers. To further support brand partners, the CORDURA® brand will also unveil new CORDURA 
AdventurerTM hangtags, sew-in labels, and other on-product identification options, offering a clear 
and compelling way to communicate both the performance story and the brand equity embedded in 
each garment.
