ENZYME PRESOAK PRODUCTS
A pretreatment product used to break down protein stains like grass, blood, and baby formula, so that they can more effectively be removed by regular detergents. Enzymes contain:
Amylase for starch;
Protease for protein; and,
Lipase for fats.
The cellulose enzyme is claimed to remove fuzzy surface fibers and pills from the ends of cellulosic fibers and fabrics (i.e. cotton, linen, ramie, washable rayon, washable acetate, and lyocell).
Most detergents also contain enzyemes.
