ENZYME PRESOAK PRODUCTS

A pretreatment product used to break down protein stains like grass, blood, and baby formula, so that they can more effectively be removed by regular detergents. Enzymes contain:

  • Amylase for starch;
  • Protease for protein; and,
  • Lipase for fats.
  • The cellulose enzyme is claimed to remove fuzzy surface fibers and pills from the ends of cellulosic fibers and fabrics (i.e. cotton, linen, ramie, washable rayon, washable acetate, and lyocell).
  • Most detergents also contain enzyemes.
