 What Is CORDURA® AFT (Air Flow Technology) Fabric?
CORDURA® AFT (Air Flow Technology) fabric is a highly breathable collection of circular knit, flat, warp knit, and 3D/Spacer constructions with enhanced abrasion and tear strength. The CORDURA®AFT fabric collection has been expanded to include high tenacity polyester and nylon 6,6 fiber offerings in a wide array of knits and 3D/spacer fabrics.

In collaboration with Taiwan-based Tiong Liong Corporation, INVISTA’S CORDURA® brand’s AFT fabric collection of new knit constructions features enhanced abrasion and snagging resistance, combined with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. The latest CORDURA® AFT fabric innovations provide new styling and footwear construction options in polyester and nylon, with the addition of 3D spacer fabric technologies.
CORDURA® AFT fabrics are targeted towards outer shell athletic (hiking/trekking) footwear, safety footwear, and backpacks, as well as performance apparel such as motorcycle jackets.
