ANGORA

Natural Fiber - There are two types of Angora:

Angora (Mohair - Made from the hair of the Angora Goat) See characteristics for "Mohair"
Angora Rabbit Hair


CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Fine hair fibers
  • Lightweight
  • Very warm
  • Often blended with wool to decrease the price and to obtain novelty effects

MAJOR END USES:

  • Apparel - sweaters, socks, accessories, shawls, coats, and suits
  • Home Fashions - Blankets, throws

Comments - By law, all items containing Angora rabbit hair must be described on the label as containing "Angora rabbit hair."
