The Tuck Seam should be used on a plain design and is probably most effective when used on coarsely woven/knit fabrics. Follow these instructions to make a Tuck Seam.
Machine-baste a regular seam.
Press the seam allowance to one side.
Topstitch the pressed seam allowance in place from the right side of the fabric.
Remove the basting stitches.
