Open bias tape and place against hem edge, right sides together.
Stitch along crease of bias tape (approx. 1/4 inch from edge)
Press remainder of strip up and over the edge of hem.
Looking at right side of hem, stitch in the well of the seam.

Use either bias tape or a bias fabric strip
